Write Your Way Through It

Wednesdays

Free August Writing Sessions

Hosted by Shandice Stallworth

This August, join Shandice for four weeks of soulful writing and community sharing. Each week focuses on a different theme: we'll practice the art and power of honesty in motion, even when it hurts.

In the end, we'll be empowered to embrace the lessons learned and infuse them into our daily lives with courage. Each session is one hour long, giving you a little glimpse into our signature Write Your Way Through It workshops.

This August workshop series is free to attend, but you are welcome to donate to support future DPW initiatives here.

Registration closes on Wednesdays at noon (ET).

Schedule:

7:30PM (ET) on ZOOM

Each session includes an introduction and reflection, 30 minutes of writing, and 25 minutes of optional sharing. Feel free to use that time to soak in the words of others, share your revelations, or simply reread your words. I’ll be there to support your process while working through my own.

I’ll be writing alongside you as I truly believe in this work that I do and the transformation that lives on the other side of ‘writing your way through it.’ - Shandice

Attend whichever sessions speak to the season you are in.

01

Uncovering ‘You’ with Honesty

August 7 - 7:30 pm (ET)

The purpose of session one is to encourage you to face yourself and all your complexities in a loving and honest way while also honing the art of accountability that God’s love and word provide us with.

02

Relationships and Friendship Breakups

August 14 - 7:30 pm (ET)

We’ll explore the grieving process that accompanies friendship breakups and the seasonality of some relationships. We’ll learn the art of lovingly making peace with the temporary while celebrating the relationships that transcend seasons.

03

Boundaries and Abundant Living

Sometimes, we are afraid of boldly setting boundaries and saying no to the things, people, and situations that pull us away from our peace and purpose. This session is all about identifying and embracing your inner needs and boldly living according to your beliefs regardless of who does or doesn’t like them.

Say ‘Yes’ to the Life You Were Created For

We have one life to live, so live it well. Live it with purpose and an unwavering belief in the woman God has called you to be. In session four, we are courageously standing in our God-given identity and claiming what is already ours. Dear Purposeful Woman, It’s time to say ‘yes’ to the life you were created for.

Your Workshop Facilitator: Shandice Stallworth

I just love seeing women liberated.

I created Write Your Way Through It to remind purposeful women that facing ourselves is revolutionary, transformative, and liberating. Like you, I am showing up each day to heal, learn, and grow with love and courage.

As a purpose-driven writer and author, I have witnessed writing serve as a healing tool that reveals our inner thoughts and feelings and awakens us to the women God created us to be.

I’ve always been a gentle soul who has come to realize just how much of a superpower our softness is, and as hard as life might get sometimes, I will not allow it to harden me. So know that you will be entering a sacred environment with a soft place to land as you surrender to the process of digging beneath the surface of yourself.

I’m a born and raised Londoner who has made Atlanta, Georgia, my home. I have a diverse background in TV production and marketing and a master’s degree in social science, which informs much of my work with women. I’m a lover of tea and poetic words who simply desires to become all God has created me to be and use my gifts to inspire others and glorify Him.
